ABOUT OUR EVENTS
The Commerce Society has dedicated its efforts to educate, connect and inspire the students of the Sobey School of Business to better the community and value of Saint Mary’s University. With your membership, attendance or donation, you will make these and many more events possible for this year and next. See the below list to learn about the kinds of events we hold and click here to see our upcoming and past events from this year.

Annual Wine and Cheese Networking Event
A formal event, always popular among students and our business connections, that begins with a networking reception followed by a session led by a guest speaker who provides some insight into life in the “real world”. Held in the fall, it is typically our second most attended event.
Annual Business Dinner (Premier Event)
Our biggest event of the year! The Commerce Dinner is now going into its 47th year. It is always well attended with upwards of 300 people from the university, business, and student communities. Keynoted by a SMU alumnus, the event is designed to strengthen our local and global communities, and inspire students to realize their full potential.
